Action world

It was a warm summer morning,Amara was just waking up after her granddad had thumbed down to her room with a stern wake up call(Amara's granddad flicks her light on)

"UP UP,your going to action world!" Amara rolled over in her bed and tugged the sheets over her head"Meh"groaned Amara

"get up or your having dog food on toast for breakfast,the dog wouldn't mind sharing" suddenly Amara was up on her feet walking towards her closet "Im fine with avocado on toast for now" she panted.

                               The daze

The car pulls up to school,Amara sees kids sprinting to their class rooms excitingly."Amara....AMARA!" yelled Amara's granddad, Amara woke up from her daze immediately "Huh...What?" "Remember to reapply sunblock every two hours" growled Amara's grandad "yea..k..."Amara was sucked back into the daze she was in a few seconds ago "Bye,see you soon" Amara mumbled as she picked up her bag a closed the car door,the car zoomed away and with a puff of dust the car was gone."Not even a goodbye,rude" Amara said disappointed in her grandad.IN THE HALL "Ok,im going to sort you into cars and the buses,perants do you want to chose some kids to take with you,what about you coopers mum?"called mrs bates from the front of the hall to the back"Yes ok,ill take Cooper,Athua Amara and .................Charlie"

Every year we have a event that the whole school participates in called Pet day.Pet day is a day when you bring your pet to school,the school prepares contests for the student as in:best lamb contest,Best dog contest,Small animal contest and best pieces of art.

My favourite part of pet day was running our game stalls we had been planning and setting up for weeks before,we had a system for our games,50 cents to play each game:Potty toss,cup toss,fish pond and tick tack toe.Our system was win a ticket from winning a game,then trade that ticket for a prize, one chocolate fish or one piece of candy for one ticket or one lucky dip prize for two tickets,I was working the stall that gives out the prizes,it was fun because it was so cute when little kids would come up with a ticket and an exited face,it was confusing and a little frustrating when someone would come up to me with say...a 20 dollar note to pay for the 50 cent game they wanted to play.

At the end of the day i was most proud of the amount of money we made,it was over 100 DOLLARS!

This was so very,well how do i put this uhhhh.......Fun/exausting.I had some problams trying to figure out what cause happens with what choice

⭐MOVIE MAKING⭐

 Last Friday, Manuka class made movies but only short ones.
The reason we did this is because we are learning to take different shots,for example,the scene is set in a classroom,a wide shot would be a shot of the whole classroom. A close up which would be maybe a shot of someone's face and a mid shot which is a shot that is in the middle of those two.

We were also learning to make a storyboard for it like,planning what to say,where is the setting,what is happening in the story etc.

We had to work in pairs,our teacher Whaea Meg,put us in groups with people that we have not been in a group with before,we all got different roles,director,editor and two actors,I was an editor,next I want to be a director.The hardest part was sticking to the storyboard.

I enjoyed making my story come to life I found it challenging to find certain little details The thing that keep me going was relaxing music

Cinderella I liked the way i added my own things to it to make it my original piece What challenged me the most was finding images on the internet It made me think hard about the things that are to over the top and things that would be just right The mistake that i made that taught me something is how to fit all the text into a small space From this i learnt how to make an animation
